This meeting was organized to discuss a paradigm shift in local small business policies and ways to expand the roles of related organizations in order to revitalize the still struggling local economy.
On the 22nd, about ten participants including the Indong commercial district merchants' association attended to listen to the difficulties faced by small business owners and then held a free discussion in the form of a meeting.
The city empathizes actively with the difficulties of local small business owners who are struggling due to the resurgence of COVID-19 and plans to strengthen continuous cooperation by communicating with related organizations and local small business owners through various policy measures.
Ji Youngmok, Director of the Economic Support Bureau, said, “It is regrettable that the local commercial district has been greatly depressed due to the impact of COVID-19 and other factors. To transform it into a commercial district that attracts consumers, it is necessary to change it into a distinctive area that can provide customers with enjoyable experiences beyond expanding convenience facilities and improving parking environments.”
