Traffic Light Struck by Lightning in Rainfall Stops Working in Gyeongnam Province

According to the Gyeongnam Police Agency and Changwon Fire Headquarters, around 9 a.m. that day, 35 traffic lights, including those in the area from Gyeongnam Provincial Office to Sangnam-dong and Uichang-gu, were not functioning properly.
Over 40 inquiries and reports about the malfunctions flooded the 112 emergency call center.
The signals stopped for several seconds to minutes, causing some traffic congestion in the area, but no secondary damage occurred.
