Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, on the 24th, announced a new start for the 8th term of the elected government and began reporting on current issues and visiting local livelihood sites in five districts, starting with Seongsan District Office, to promote communication and harmony.
This visit proceeded in the order of tea time with district-level organization heads (such as the Federation of Neighborhood Leaders, Residents' Autonomy Committees, and National Movement Organizations), reports on major district administrative issues, and visits to local livelihood sites.
During tea time with organization heads, Mayor Hong Nampyo expressed gratitude for filling administrative shortcomings with the dedication and volunteer spirit of local organization members, and stated that he would promote administration centered on the demand side (citizens) rather than the supply side.
Following this, the report on district administrative issues aimed at communication and empathy regarding district and city administration was conducted by minimizing formalities and ceremonies, and a brief report was received on nine current projects including the construction of the Woongnam Industrial Complex public parking lot. He urged attention to ensure no inconvenience to residents and to complete the projects within the scheduled period, and also explained the direction of city administration operations.
