Lotte Mart Wins Main Awards in 4 Categories at the 2022 Red Dot Design Award
Zetaflex, Highly Praised for Differentiated Content
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Mart announced on the 25th that 'ZetaFlex,' 'BottleBunker,' and 'Collioli' won the main awards in the Brand & Communication category at the '2022 Red Dot Design Award,' one of the world's top three design awards.
Lotte Mart received the main award in the Retail category of the Brand & Communication division for ZetaFlex, the main awards in the Retail and Illustration categories for BottleBunker, and the main award in the Package Design category for Collioli.
ZetaFlex features a panoramic aquarium at the front of the food section, a premium meat store, and the largest refrigerated and frozen food section in Korea. Additionally, it offers various play and experience-centered content, including a mega sports store, a large-scale toy store, a roller rink, and a futsal stadium, which were highly praised for providing differentiated content not previously attempted in conventional large supermarkets.
BottleBunker is the largest mega wine curation shop in Korea, selling over 4,000 types of wines ranging from premium to cost-effective options. The BottleBunker illustration series was created under the theme of 'moments enjoying wine' to enhance customers' enjoyable wine experiences. Using thick and rough lines inspired by Korea's strong brushstroke style, it gives a lively impression as if the paintings are moving, and the disorderly and bold painting expresses the unexpected joy that can be experienced through BottleBunker.
Collioli is a pet total care specialty store and brand that proposes the joy of living with companion animals. The brand's product packaging was designed by extracting five colors based on the idea that dogs and cats see the world in two primary colors, and it features a unique image combining the logo with the faces of pets.
