Recently, the Chinese government has been strengthening the protection of its citizens' personal information as well as enhancing the security of personal information and data processing systems. In particular, the Chinese government assigns network security levels based on the anticipated extent of damage from personal information and data processing systems and requires security measures and management accordingly.
The seminar was part of compliance management support to raise awareness of personal information protection and information security, ensuring that Korean companies operating in China do not suffer disadvantages such as fines from the Chinese government due to violations of personal information protection and information security laws within China.
Through this seminar, KISA provided practical guidance centered on actual cases, including ▲ how to respond to the Chinese Personal Information Protection Law ▲ evaluation and improvement cases of corporate network security levels ▲ practical compliance with network safety regulations ▲ and points that Korean companies should be aware of.
