‘Preview in SEOUL 2022,’ held from today until the 26th at COEX Hall A in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, is the largest textile and fabric exhibition in Korea, with 311 domestic and international textile fashion companies (524 booths) participating.
Taekwang Industrial and Daehan Chemical Fiber, the only companies in Korea equipped with production facilities for chemical fibers, spun yarn, and fabrics, will showcase an eco-friendly fiber portfolio aligned with this year’s event concept, ‘Global Textile Fashion Industry Trends in the Endemic Era.’
To this end, they will install and operate a Recycle Zone linked to the ongoing Kakao Makers project. Taekwang Industrial, Daehan Chemical Fiber, and the custom order platform ‘Kakao Makers’ are conducting a project this year to collect discarded clothing and produce recycled spun yarn to make used socks needed by vulnerable groups.
At the same time, fabrics made from recycled yarns (polyester, nylon, spun yarn spandex) will be exhibited, and consultations with client companies and domestic and international brands will be held using the displayed fabrics. As part of their ESG activities, Taekwang Industrial and Daehan Chemical Fiber are focusing their capabilities on developing and marketing eco-friendly products, actively continuing their efforts since launching the recycled fiber brand ‘ACEPORA®-ECO’ in 2019.
Differentiated products within major product groups such as nylon, polyester, spun yarn, and spandex will also be exhibited.
Key products such as Enduron (nylon), Sofna neolux (nylon), NY-Shelron (nylon), Camela cool (polyester), Aceflex (polyester), Shelron (polyester), Acemere (spun yarn), Slub (spun yarn), and Elafit (spandex) will be directly displayed, expected to attract visitors’ attention.
Additionally, a joint booth will be operated with seven partner companies including Shiniltex, Deokwoo Industrial, Daehyun TFC, Chungnam Petrochemical, YJ Global, Woosung F&T, and Sinchang TNC to promote their own and partner products.
