Overcoming Blood Supply Crisis: 'Life Sharing Love Practice Blood Donation Campaign' Launched
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County in Jeonnam recently held a blood donation campaign to practice sharing life for stable blood supply, attended by about 40 public officials and others.
This blood donation campaign was conducted with the purpose of encouraging public officials to take the lead in overcoming the difficult blood supply situation caused by the decrease in group and individual blood donations due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and school vacations.
A county official said, “Blood donation was carried out while strictly adhering to COVID-19 prevention guidelines such as disinfecting blood donation vehicles, wearing masks, and checking body temperature,” and added, “We will actively promote blood donation campaigns in the future to spread the culture of neighborly love and sharing life.”
