Pharmaceutical Bio Association Holds Meeting with MFDS Commissioner and Digital Healthcare Special Lecture

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] The Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association announced on the 23rd that it will hold a CEO workshop for member companies next month on the 2nd, featuring a roundtable with Oh Yu-kyung, Commissioner of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and a special lecture on digital healthcare.
The CEO workshop, scheduled to take place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul, was organized to explore ways to enhance the value of Korea's pharmaceutical and bio-pharma industry and the competitiveness of member companies. In particular, the event will include a roundtable with Commissioner Oh Yu-kyung to share the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety's regulatory innovation and operational directions, and to exchange mutual opinions. It is expected to be an occasion where the Ministry expresses its commitment to serving as a 'Regulatory Science (RA)' agency that acts not as a barrier but as a traffic light and a springboard to strengthen health security and the competitiveness of the pharmaceutical and bio-pharma industry.
Additionally, there will be a session with experts reviewing the current status of convergence and fusion with big data, artificial intelligence (AI), ICT, which are becoming new trends in the pharmaceutical and bio-pharma industry, as well as the meaning and prospects of digital healthcare.
