Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, Ignites Synergy in Social Economy and Culture Encounters
‘Han Yeoreum Bam-ui ON (ON of a Midsummer Night)’ Held at Suwan Hosu Park on the 27th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Park Byung-gyu) announced on the 22nd that it will hold the ‘Midsummer Night’s On (ON)’ event, where social economy and culture come together, around Suwan Lake Park on the 27th.
Twenty-two social economy enterprises will participate in this event. From 4 PM to 9 PM, there will be sales and experiences of social economy enterprise products, along with various cultural and artistic performances such as puppet shows, bubble shows, and fireworks.
There will also be an event where participants receive coupons that can be used at the venue upon completing missions.
A Gwangsan-gu official said, “We hope this will be a time for citizens exhausted by the heat to momentarily forget the heat and heal,” adding, “We expect it to be an opportunity to spread the value of social economy, such as solidarity and cooperation, through citizen participation.”
