Dambit Youth Culture House Successfully Concludes Summer Vacation Experience Activities
Canvas Painting, Punch Needle Embroidery Experience... Enhancing Achievement with Exhibition of Completed Large-Scale Works
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 22nd that it successfully completed the experience program conducted for youth during the vacation period at the Dambit Youth Culture House.
This experience program was planned to encourage a healthy vacation life for youth through canvas painting and punch needle embroidery experiences, while also increasing the usage rate of the Culture House.
The participating youth said, "I felt a great sense of accomplishment and pride as I carefully colored each part and saw the painting being completed," and "Embroidery seemed difficult, but during the experience, I was able to concentrate without any other thoughts, which was good."
The large artwork completed cooperatively by several youths during the experience is currently on display at the first-floor book cafe of the Youth Culture House.
An official from the county said, "I am glad to see the youth concentrating on activities and feeling a sense of accomplishment by completing their works," and added, "We will continue to strive to help youth grow into healthy and happy members of society through various youth programs."
