According to the Democratic Party of Korea on the 21st, after the joint speech event held at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju Metropolitan City in the afternoon, the results of the party members' vote revealed that candidate Lee secured a firm first place with a cumulative vote share of 78.35%.
Candidate Park Yong-jin recorded 21.65%.
Looking at the details, in Jeonnam, candidate Lee Jae-myung received 79.02%, and Park Yong-jin 21.42%, while in Gwangju, candidate Lee had 78.58%, and Park Yong-jin 21.42%.
In the party members' vote held the previous day in Jeonbuk, candidate Lee received 76.81%, and candidate Park 23.19%.
Meanwhile, in the Supreme Council member vote, candidate Jeong Cheong-rae maintained first place with a cumulative vote share of 26.4%, and candidate Ko Min-jung ranked second with 23.39%.
