H Plus Yangji Hospital Holds 'ESG Management' Proclamation Ceremony
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] H Plus Yangji Hospital held an 'ESG Management Declaration Ceremony' on the 17th and is embarking on full-scale ESG management.
H Plus Yangji Hospital formed an ESG Committee on the 13th of last month and established progress and plans for each sector. The committee analyzed the necessity, purpose, trends, and domestic and international application cases of ESG management, and especially proposed ESG indicators, strategies, and key tasks suitable for the characteristics of medical institutions.
The ESG management slogan was decided as ‘Together H+Yangji ESG.’ It reflects the value philosophy that the hospital will carry out management activities that value not only financial performance but also non-financial factors such as environment and society for sustainable growth.
An organization to promote ESG management was also formed. Under the ESG Committee, three subcommittees were established for environment, social responsibility, and governance, selecting activity themes and key tasks, with hospital staff planning to practice them together.
