Sacheon Coast Guard Seeks 'Hero' Who Saved Woman from Drowning Crisis

A man who helped rescue a woman who fell into the sea in front of a fish market in Changseon-myeon, Namhae-gun, Gyeongnam, disappeared after confirming the arrival of the rescue team.
According to the Sacheon Coast Guard on the 16th, at around 3:56 PM on the 13th, a man identified as Mr. A, who was walking by, saw a woman estimated to be in her 30s, Ms. B, struggling in the water and jumped in.
Mr. A grabbed Ms. B and brought her to the surface, and a fisherman who witnessed the scene helped by throwing a life jacket on her to assist with swimming.
The Sacheon Coast Guard dispatched the Sacheon Police Station coastal rescue boat and rescue team to the scene after receiving a report that someone was holding a drowning person in the water.
At around 4:07 PM that day, the coast guard rescue team arrived at the scene and immediately entered the water to rescue both individuals.
The coast guard stated, “At the time of rescue, Ms. B was conscious and breathing normally. She was transported to a nearby hospital by a 119 ambulance, and it was confirmed that her life was not in danger.”
