[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] On the 16th, SK Bioscience announced that it held a meeting in Yeouido, Seoul, with Bill Gates, Co-Chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (Gates Foundation), SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, SK Discovery Vice Chairman Choi Chang-won, and SK Bioscience President Ahn Jae-yong to discuss cooperation plans for promoting global public health.
SK Bioscience and the Gates Foundation agreed to expand their partnership, which has continued since 2013, to continuously seek solutions for global public health issues and to continue research and development of new vaccines and therapeutics for next pandemic preparedness.
