SPC Group Conducts Volunteer Activities for Flood Damage Recovery with Employees
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] SPC Group announced on the 14th that it conducted emergency relief activities by its executives and employees to swiftly restore the sites in the central region affected by heavy rain and flood damage.
Amid various incidents such as river flooding, road and house inundation, and power outages caused by heavy rain in various parts of Seoul, SPC Group employees, together with the Seocho-gu Volunteer Center, produced sandbags for flood prevention and restoration at Banpo General Stadium in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the 12th. The produced sandbags will be used to prevent various flood damages such as inundation caused by river flooding and to assist smooth restoration work.
SPC Group plans to participate in various support activities for flood-affected households next week as well. An SPC Group official said, "We conducted volunteer activities by our employees to contribute even a little to the swift restoration of areas severely damaged by heavy rain," adding, "We will continue to provide necessary support to the local community."
