View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] On Sunday the 14th, the whole country is expected to be mostly cloudy with occasional rain in the central region and the Gyeongbuk area.
The amount of rain continuing from the previous day is forecasted to be 30 to 80 mm in the central region (excluding Yeongdong, Gangwon), northern inland Gyeongbuk, and the five western islands.
Heavy rain of over 150 mm is expected in the Seoul metropolitan area and northern Chungcheong region.
The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between 23 and 28 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 27 and 35 degrees Celsius.
Temperatures will temporarily drop in areas where it rains, but after the skies clear, temperatures will rise again and humidity will increase, continuing the heatwave.
Especially in the southern region and Jeju Island, the highest apparent temperature is expected to rise to around 33 to 35 degrees Celsius in many places, making it very hot, and many areas are expected to experience tropical nights (nighttime low temperature above 25 degrees Celsius).
Fine dust levels will be 'good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effect of precipitation.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters.
