The signing ceremony was attended by County Governor Jo Geun-je, Director Noh Choong-sik of Gyeongnam Technopark, representatives of the residents' council, and other officials.
On this day, Haman County and Gyeongnam Technopark agreed to join forces for the successful selection and implementation of the Guseong District urban regeneration project.
Through this agreement, Gyeongnam Technopark plans to jointly promote ICT and smart innovation new businesses within the Guseong District and take charge of operational support, aiming to create a differentiated urban regeneration project area that integrates advanced technologies.
Governor Jo said, “Gyeongnam Technopark is a regional innovation hub institution leading the development of the local industrial economy. I believe that by intensively applying the expertise of excellent researchers to the Guseong District, it will become a regional innovation hub where advanced technologies are integrated, beyond the basic achievements of urban regeneration.”
