Strengthening Commitment to Integrity through High-Ranking Officials' Performance
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam conducted a "Integrity Pledge and Commitment Performance" to eradicate corruption and promote a culture of clean public service.

About 40 senior public officials of grade 4 and above, including Hong Nam-pyo, mayor of Changwon Special City, attended the event.
This performance was organized to express the commitment of high-ranking officials to anti-corruption and integrity and to enhance integrity leadership in celebration of the launch of the 8th local government administration.
The attendees strengthened their resolve to create a ‘corruption-free, fair, and clean Changwon’ through a mini integrity banner performance inscribed with ‘Corruption NO, Integrity YES’ and ‘Compliance with the Public Officials’ Conflict of Interest Prevention Act.’
In particular, Mayor Hong Nam-pyo shouted ‘Integrity,’ and the senior officials responded with ‘YES,’ expressing a strong will to foster a clean public service culture.
The city is promoting various integrity policies such as integrity pledges by senior officials, operating ‘Integrity Day’ on the first day of every month, strengthening mandatory integrity education for employees, learning integrity knowledge through quizzes, and integrity happy calls to improve integrity levels.
