View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon City announced on the 11th that it will urgently provide disaster relief funds to small business owners and disaster victims affected by heavy rain damage.
First, small business owners who have suffered direct damage to their facilities due to heavy rain will receive 2 million won per store based on the investigation results. Affected small business owners must report the damage to the relevant district or county office within 10 days from the end of the disaster.
Payments will be decided after damage investigations are conducted according to the standards of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Incheon City based on the received reports.
Additionally, disaster relief funds of up to 2 million won will be provided to citizens who suffered flood damage. Disaster victims will be supported with accommodation costs, meal expenses, and disaster relief supplies to ensure prompt evacuation and safety.
Earlier, Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok received a report on the heavy rain damage situation the previous day and instructed to swiftly promote protection for disaster victims and support for small business owners using 17.9 billion won from the disaster relief fund.
Having given up his vacation and inspecting the heavy rain damage recovery situation for the third day, Mayor Yoo visited the vulnerable mountainous area of Manbu Senior Center in Namdong-gu and a villa site in Namdong-gu where there is concern about retaining wall collapse on the 11th.
