KB Financial Group Donates 1 Billion KRW for Flood Damage Recovery in Affected Areas
Direct and Indirect Donations Possible via Mobile App and Homepage
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] KB Financial Group will donate 1 billion KRW in relief funds to areas affected by the recent heavy rains.
On the 11th, KB Financial Group announced that it will donate a total of 1 billion KRW to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association. These funds will be fully used for restoring facilities in the affected areas, providing daily necessities to disaster victims, ensuring housing safety for vulnerable groups, and supporting small business owners.
In addition to the donated funds, a campaign allowing donations through KB Financial Group’s major mobile applications (apps) will be held from the 16th until the end of this month.
Those who wish to donate can find and click the 'Participate in Donation Campaign' section on the mobile apps and websites of KB Financial Group’s seven affiliates (KB Securities, KB Card, KB Insurance, Prudential Life, KB Capital, KB Life Insurance, KB Savings Bank). For each participating customer, 1,000 KRW will be accumulated, and KB Financial Group plans to donate the total amount.
Direct donations are also possible through KB Kookmin Bank’s Star Banking and Internet Banking, KB Securities’ 'M-able' and Home Trading System (HTS) and website, and KB Kookmin Card’s mobile app and website. Individual donation details can be checked and processed for tax deductions through the National Tax Service’s year-end tax settlement simplification system.
