WEMAKEPRICE O Maintains 'Zero Commission Fees for Visit and Takeout Orders'
No Separate Brokerage Fee for Pickup Orders to Minimize Partner Company Burden
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Wemakeprice O announced on the 11th that it will officially operate the 'zero commission fee for pickup orders (visiting and takeout)' policy, which has been in operation since January last year. Dining partners registered on Wemakeprice O do not pay any separate commission fees when receiving customer pickup orders.
This policy reflects Wemakeprice O's intention to minimize the burden of commission fees on partners as pickup orders have increased due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and the growing proportion of delivery fees.
Currently, Wemakeprice O offers a choice between a percentage-based commission and a fixed-rate commission. The percentage-based commission includes a server usage fee and is set between 2-5%, with costs incurred depending on delivery orders; however, no commission fees are charged for pickup orders.
In the case of the fixed-rate commission, partners pay a weekly server fee of 8,800 KRW with no additional costs for delivery or pickup orders, and this fee is waived if weekly sales are below 30,000 KRW.
