On the 11th, LG Electronics announced that it signed a business agreement with security solution company Gison and will begin launching the eavesdropping detection solution dedicated to LG Electronics digital signage in South Korea, the Middle East, and major Asian countries starting from the end of the third quarter.
The products compatible with the eavesdropping detection solution include models mainly installed in workspaces such as meeting rooms and control centers, such as UHD signage, video walls, and LG LED all-in-one signage. LG Electronics plans to continuously expand compatible models and launch countries considering the demand from customers who prioritize information security.
The eavesdropping detection solution consists of an eavesdropping signal detector and webOS-linked software. When the detector senses an abnormal signal that may indicate eavesdropping, it notifies the central control system in real time and simultaneously displays a warning icon on the signage screen through the webOS-linked software. This allows meeting participants to immediately recognize the eavesdropping situation and respond in real time to prevent further information leakage, which is a key advantage.
