Humart Company Launches 'TrostCare', Unlimited Mental Wellness Solution for 9,900 KRW per Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] Humart Company, which operates the comprehensive mental care solution ‘Trost,’ announced on the 9th that it has launched an unlimited mental care subscription service for venture startup employees called ‘Trost Care.’
Trost Care is a service launched based on the know-how Humart Company has gained over the past seven years by resolving psychological issues for 96 client companies and 200,000 employees. According to Humart Company, unlike existing services, all mental care services?including 1:1 psychological counseling, AI psychological diagnosis, and over 300 sound therapy contents (meditation and ASMR) planned by experts?can be used unlimitedly at a monthly fee of 9,900 KRW per person.
Venture startup workers are psychologically vulnerable due to uncertain business environments, economic instability, and lack of systems, resulting in emotional costs and rapid morale decline. Despite this, it has been difficult for venture startups to introduce Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). This is due to the high cost of counseling sessions, which can reach 100,000 KRW per session, and the perception of ‘screening and managing high-risk groups.’
Trost Care has significantly lowered the cost entry barrier by reducing unnecessary resources and automating operational systems so that startups can also implement Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). It develops various mental care services to help startup employees solve realistic concerns and provides them through an app.
Since 2016, Humart Company has been providing Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) to companies focusing on employees’ mental health and psychological care. About 90 companies, including POSCO, Socar, LG Chem, and Ably, manage their employees’ mental health through Trost. According to Humart Company, 87% of employees who actually used the Trost service were satisfied with the program, and 84% said it helped them both emotionally and practically.
The business is also growing. The Trost B2B business already exceeded last year’s revenue in the first half of this year, and the company expects the cumulative number of clients to reach 150 by the end of the year. Previously, Kakao Ventures, KAIST Youth Startup Investment Holding Company, and Korea Investment Partners invested about 5.5 billion KRW in Humart Company.

Kim Donghyun, CEO of Humart Company, said, “It was heartbreaking to hear stories of startups giving up on mental care despite about a 30% decrease in productivity due to stress and three out of four office workers complaining of depression in their work life, with no alternatives available. We aim to provide the Trost Care solution, which offers unlimited access to various mental care services at a reasonable cost, to help create a work environment where team members can appropriately resolve personal concerns and work stress and prevent morale decline.”
