Sokcho City Ends Night Opening of Sokcho Beach on the 7th
"Operation of Safe Beaches Without Accidents Until Closing Day (8.28)"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Sokcho Beach has ended its nighttime opening, which had been in effect for 16 days since the 23rd of last month, as of the 7th.
The Sokcho City government stated, "Thanks to the cooperation of citizens and tourists, we were able to safely conclude the nighttime opening," and added, "We will do our best to operate a safe and pleasant beach without accidents until the beach closes on August 28."
Earlier, the city designated a nighttime swimming zone of approximately 150 meters from the main gate to the middle gate of Sokcho Beach and extended swimming hours by 3 hours from the previous 6 PM to 9 PM.
