iHerb "Earn Points When Paying with Naver Pay in August"
Earn 3,000 Points When Paying Over 50,000 Won with Naver Pay on iHerb
Enhanced Benefits Including Korean Language Support, Korea-Exclusive App, and Domestic 3-Company Easy Payment Services
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] iHerb announced on the 4th that it will hold a 'Naver Pay Point Accumulation Event' in collaboration with Naver Pay throughout August.
This event, running until the 31st of this month, offers 3,000 Naver Pay points when paying 50,000 KRW or more with Naver Pay at iHerb. However, points can be accumulated only once per person during the event period based on real-name verification, and the accumulation is based on the payment amount per transaction, not the total amount of individual shopping during the event period.
Last month, iHerb introduced the convenient payment service Naver Pay as part of its strategy to strengthen the Korean market. With 30 million subscribers, Naver Pay allows easy payment using authentication methods set by the user, such as a 6-digit password or fingerprint authentication, without requiring certification procedures like official certificates or security cards.
iHerb explained, "We have been pursuing a localization strategy to increase satisfaction among Korean consumers," adding, "In addition to iHerb's infrastructure built over more than 10 years, including Korean language support and KRW display, Korean customer service, a 72-hour delivery system, and the launch of a Korea-exclusive shopping app, we added Naver Pay payment service this year." With this strategy, iHerb has become an overseas direct purchase platform offering the top three domestic convenient payment services, including previously provided services like Payco and KakaoPay.
