Damyang Dambit Art Warehouse Hosts New Exhibition by Four Mid-Career Artists from Jeonnam Region
Various Programs Including Meeting the Author and Author Talk Seminar Together
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Damyang-gun Cultural Foundation's Dambit Art Warehouse announced on the 3rd that it will hold an exhibition for about two months starting from the 5th, inviting four mid-career artists who are actively working in Jeollanam-do and continuing works that embody regional sensibilities.
The exhibition features a total of four artists, including Damyang's Park Moonjong and Jung Wisangmu, as well as Park Iljeong and Kim Woosung, who are actively working in Muan and Haenam.
New works highlighting each artist's distinctive style will be displayed in spaces organized by theme, and during the exhibition period, audience participation programs such as 'Meet the Artist' and 'Artist Talk Seminar' will also be held.
This exhibition allows visitors to see works by the four artists in one place, each reflecting their own themes such as contemplation of nature and wu-wei, and the expression of personal desires.
In particular, this exhibition gains additional significance as part of the artist support project promoted by the Jeollanam-do Cultural Foundation, providing exhibition opportunities and space to local artists.
Dambit Art Warehouse is implementing quarantine measures such as mandatory mask-wearing for visitors and hand sanitization upon entry in response to the COVID-19 situation.
The exhibition is open to the public free of charge, and group visits can enjoy a richer experience with exhibition explanations upon reservation.
