Hana Tour Reports Operating Loss of 33.7 Billion KRW in Q2... Deficit Widens (Comprehensive)
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Hana Tour announced on the 2nd that its consolidated operating loss for the second quarter of this year amounted to 33.74 billion KRW, representing a 41.1% increase in the deficit compared to the same period last year (23.92 billion KRW).
Sales reached 21.66 billion KRW, marking a 143.5% increase compared to the same period last year. Net loss narrowed to 24.23 billion KRW.

A Hana Tour official explained, "Marketing expenses increased significantly compared to the previous quarter as we expanded marketing in line with the recovery of overseas travel," adding, "There was also a slight increase in labor costs."
