[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sacheon City, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting tenants for the ‘Sacheon City Customized Youth Housing (Turtle House No. 5)’ built to support housing stability for single-person households of young people without homes.
The ‘Sacheon City Customized Youth Housing (Turtle House No. 5)’ open for tenant recruitment this time is located at 692-4 Yonggang-dong and is scheduled to be completed by the end of August.
It is a three-story building above ground, with the first floor planned to be used as a youth space and common area, and the second and third floors as residential spaces consisting of a total of 12 studio-type rooms (31.2㎡ each).
There are 9 rooms allocated for general youth and 3 rooms for youth who have aged out of protective care; if the recruitment for youth who have aged out is insufficient, the rooms will be allocated to general youth applicants.
The application period is from the 16th to the 26th of this month, and after document screening, tenants will be selected in September, with move-in expected to begin after the end of September.
Applicants must have their resident registration address in Sacheon City as of the recruitment announcement date (August 1, 2022), be unmarried young people aged 18 to 39 without homes, and have an income at or below 120% of the median income.
However, youth who have aged out of protective care must have left the protective facility within 3 years as of the announcement date and meet the above criteria.
