The scholarship fund was collected from broadcasting appearances and special lecture fees, adding significance by entrusting it as a scholarship for local students.
Since joining Pohang University in 1989, Professor Kim Junhong has been dedicated to nurturing students. In addition to his university duties, he is active in various fields including Director of the Gyeongbuk Policy Research Institute, Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Public Project Selection Committee, Advisory Professor at the Bank of Korea Pohang Branch, Outside Director of Pohang MBC, and Policy Advisory Professor for the National Council of City and Provincial Chairpersons.
