Boseong-gun Senior Officials' Fellowship Donates 10 Million Won to Scholarship Foundation

[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Cheon-seok] The Executive Officials' Fellowship of Boseong County, Jeollanam-do (President, Deputy County Governor Park Woo-yuk) donated 10 million won in scholarships for nurturing local talents to the Boseong County Scholarship Foundation on the 1st.

The scholarship funds donated on this day were collected from the monthly membership fees paid by the members of the Executive Officials' Fellowship of Boseong County over the past two years.

Kim Cheol-woo, Governor of Boseong County, expressed his gratitude to the executive officials, saying, "This precious donation will serve as nourishment to nurture the dreams of children," and added, "We will support the dreams of the youth who will lead the region with more substantial educational policies."

The Boseong County Scholarship Foundation strives to discover and nurture outstanding talents who will lead regional development by providing scholarships, fostering prestigious high schools, implementing regional education development projects, and awarding scholarships every year.

This year, the scholarship names and scholarship projects were completely revamped to align with changing trends.

The scholarship fund target amount of 20 billion won is expected to be achieved soon through special designated scholarships donated by entrepreneurs from the region to their alma mater for talent development and the scholarship donation from the Executive Officials' Fellowship of Boseong County.

Meanwhile, about 50 employees of Boseong County Office actively participate in nurturing local talents by paying donations to the Boseong County Scholarship Foundation either in installments or lump sums every month.
