TREASURE to Launch 2nd Anniversary Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] The group TREASURE announced various projects to celebrate their 2nd debut anniversary on August 7.
YG Entertainment posted a poster on the 29th announcing the 2nd anniversary project (TREA2URE ANNIVER2ARY 2022).
TREASURE will appear on a live broadcast on the 7th of next month. Plans include a 2nd anniversary commemorative magazine and MD, YG SELECT custom MD, and a collaboration between TREASURE and the Snow (application).
Additionally, the 'A SURPRISE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT,' which will be the highlight of the commemorative project, is attracting attention. In front of YG's new building, a fan space event called 'the SameE Cafe' will also be held.
Debuting on August 7, 2020, TREASURE was recognized as a major rookie group introduced by YG about four years after BLACKPINK. Since then, TREASURE has proven solid musical capabilities, producing skills, and approachable popularity, rising as a global rising star.
The recently released mini-album by TREASURE has surpassed 800,000 copies in sales. The cumulative sales, including three single albums and one full-length album, have exceeded 2 million copies.

YG stated, "TREASURE has currently finalized the title track for their new album and has begun full-scale preparations for their comeback." It is also known that a second domestic concert is under positive consideration.
