Seoul City Council Vice Chairman Nam Chang-jin Attends 'Love Ox Head Soup Sharing Event' for Jungbok Celebration Volunteer Service

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Nam Chang-jin, Vice Chairman of the Seoul Metropolitan Council (People Power Party, Songpa District 2), attended the 'Love Ox Head Soup Sharing Event' hosted by the Songpa 1-dong Professional Organizations Federation at 11 a.m. on the 26th.
This event was prepared as part of community love-sharing efforts for low-income residents in the area who have been exhausted by COVID-19, coinciding with Jungbok (the hottest period of summer).
Before the event, Vice Chairman Nam Chang-jin said in his greeting, "I thank the members who continuously volunteer for the low-income class," adding, "Volunteering is often done without recognition or spotlight, so it can be tiring, but your hidden volunteer work will surely become the foundation that brightens the local community."

Afterwards, Vice Chairman Nam Chang-jin, along with National Assembly member Kim Woong, Songpa District Mayor Seo Gang-seok, Songpa District Council Chairman Park Kyung-rae, and Songpa District council members, actively participated in the volunteer activity by packaging resident support items including ox head soup, porridge, instant rice, and seaweed soup together with members of the Professional Organizations Federation.
