'Yanolja PLCC' Launches... Hyundai Card × Yanolja Engage in Comprehensive Collaboration
Partnership Agreement for Comprehensive Collaboration in Branding, Marketing, and Data Science
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Hyundai Card announced on the 27th that it signed a partnership agreement with leisure platform company Yanolja on the 25th to launch a private label credit card (PLCC) exclusively for commercial use, as well as comprehensive collaboration in branding, marketing, and data science. The signing ceremony was attended by Jung Tae-young, Vice Chairman of Hyundai Card; Kim Deok-hwan, CEO of Hyundai Card; Lee Su-jin, CEO of Yanolja; and Kim Jong-yoon, CEO of Yanolja and Yanolja Cloud.
The two companies plan to first combine Hyundai Card’s data science-based PLCC capabilities with Yanolja’s platform operation expertise to introduce a unique travel and leisure-dedicated PLCC. The Yanolja PLCC, scheduled for release in the second half of this year, will offer benefits across various sectors including accommodation, leisure, performances, and transportation. In particular, it will provide extensive benefits encompassing not only Yanolja but also leading leisure platforms such as Interpark, Daily Hotel, and Triple.
Hyundai Card, the world’s first to apply data science to PLCCs, plans to activate the data alliance among PLCC partners called 'Domain Galaxy' with the addition of Yanolja, its eighteenth partner. Currently, Domain Galaxy facilitates data-driven marketing collaborations among PLCC partners such as Emart, Hyundai Motor, Kia, and GS Caltex.
Additionally, the two companies will combine Hyundai Card’s data science technology with Yanolja’s leisure-related big data to proactively respond to rapidly changing industry trends. Furthermore, by merging Hyundai Card’s cultural and space branding capabilities with Yanolja’s leisure service and platform operation know-how, they aim to create a new leisure culture never seen before.
Vice Chairman Jung said, "Hyundai Card and Yanolja, which have established unique positions in the financial and leisure industries based on technological capabilities, have joined hands. Our goal is not merely to provide leisure-related card benefits but to lead a new leisure culture through active technological exchange."
