The ‘Lonely Death Prevention Project Jibapmae (愛)’ is a project targeting 40 vulnerable groups with high social isolation, such as elderly living alone in Cheolma-myeon, involving home visits twice a week to check on their well-being by delivering health drinks and providing counseling and welfare services.
According to the agreement, Korea Yakult delivery managers will check on the vulnerable groups while delivering health drinks and promptly share information in case of emergencies to connect and support welfare services.
Jung Beom-jin, head of Korea Yakult Banyeo Branch, and Kim Jong-hoon, head of Namsan Sales Branch, said, “We will carefully monitor the safety and health of the recipients through health drink deliveries to ensure that neighbors in need of help are not overlooked.”
