Jindo-gun Designates 16 Affordable Price Businesses
Issuance of Designation Documents, Support for Necessary Items like Trash Bags Expected to Stabilize Prices
[Jindo=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, has designated reasonably priced businesses that offer moderately cheap, high-quality, and cost-effective products in the era of the three highs: prices, interest rates, and exchange rates.
On the 25th, the county designated 16 businesses as "Good Price Businesses" that operate in the food service and beauty industries, whose representative item prices do not exceed the regional average prices and have passed on-site inspections including hygiene conditions.
In particular, the Good Price Businesses were selected through a comprehensive evaluation of price, hygiene and cleanliness, and quality of service.
The newly designated Good Price Businesses will receive a certificate along with a certain incentive, including support for volume-based waste bags and necessary supplies.
Kim Hee-su, the governor of Jindo-gun, said, "I hope that Good Price Businesses, which maintain reasonable prices even in the high inflation situation and contribute to stabilizing local prices, will prosper," adding, "We will continue to expand the designation of Good Price Businesses and strengthen support and promotion to stabilize local prices."
