How to Prepare for Early Admission at Metropolitan Area Universities?
Gyeongnam Office of Education Hosts College Admission Briefing with 8 Universities
First-Come, First-Served Registration for Up to 200 People Daily Starting on the 27th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The Gyeongnam Office of Education will hold a college entrance briefing session inviting eight universities from the Seoul metropolitan area on August 9 and 10, 2023, in preparation for the 2023 academic year early admission.
The briefing session, held at the Do Education Office Gonggam Hall, will proceed in the order of Ajou University, Dankook University, Inha University, and Soongsil University on August 9, and Kwangwoon University, Kookmin University, Sejong University, and Catholic University on August 10.
During the briefing, information such as the analysis of each university's 2022 admission results and strategies for applying to the 2023 academic year early admission will be provided to examinees and parents preparing to apply.
Students and parents who wish to participate in the college entrance briefing can register starting from 10 a.m. on the 27th via the Gyeongnam College Entrance Information Center website or the ‘Ijoha-U’ app.
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis up to 200 people per day, and if you do not have an account (ID), you must sign up first.
The Office of Education stated that it will distribute the 2023 early admission guide materials for each participating university to students and parents attending the briefing, and the presentation materials will also be posted on the Gyeongnam College Entrance Information Center notice board.
According to the Office of Education, admission events conducted by the Gyeongnam College Entrance Information Center are communicated to students and parents via text message (SMS) from schools, and students and parents who need information related to admission events can apply through the College Entrance Information Center website and the Ijoha-U app.
An education office official advised, “When there are many people who want to participate in the event, it is more convenient to apply through the app.”
The Gyeongnam College Entrance Information Center said, “Those with high fever or sore throat symptoms are requested to refrain from attending to prevent COVID-19 infection,” and “Attendees are asked to cooperate with quarantine measures such as wearing masks, hand sanitizing, and sitting in designated seats.”
