Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Council Administrative Committee Conducts On-site Inspections of Major Local Institutions

According to the Gwangsan District Council on the 22nd, this on-site activity was carried out as part of the standing committee activities during the 273rd extraordinary session.
Chairman Jeong Jaebong of the Administrative Autonomy Committee, along with Vice Chairman Kim Youngseon and members Guk Kanghyun, Yoon Hyeyoung, Jo Youngim, and Lee Woohyeong participated, visiting four major institutions in the district to inspect their operational status.
First, the committee members visited the Gwangsan District Urban Regeneration Community Center, toured the facility, and received explanations about overall operations.
The Urban Regeneration Community Center serves as a hub supporting local community activities, conducting projects related to urban regeneration and village communities, and took time to explore ways to provide more systematic support across various areas related to these efforts.
Next, the visited Volunteer Center carries out participation projects centered on village-based volunteer activities, local capacity-building projects, and solidarity cooperation projects. The committee listened to explanations about related projects from on-site personnel and discussed future operational directions.
Afterwards, the members moved to the Dementia Safety Center, where they heard about the current status of major projects such as the integrated dementia management service and the overall operational difficulties.
Finally, they visited the Gwangsan District Facilities Management Corporation, received explanations about the current status from on-site personnel, and discussed improvements for systematic inspection and management regarding future directions and operations.
