Gwangju University Operates 'Computerized Accounting Level 2 Certification Class' to Enhance Student Employment Skills
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) University Job Center announced on the 21st that it will operate a Computerized Accounting Level 2 Certification Class program to enhance students' employment capabilities and boost their confidence.
The program, which started on the 4th, will be held three times a week at the Hosimgwan building on campus until the 29th. An instructor from the International Vocational School has been invited to provide both written and practical training necessary for obtaining the Computerized Accounting Level 2 certification.
Last month, the Gwangju University University Job Center operated a department-specific certification class program for current students to obtain major-related certifications, which received positive responses.
The major certification classes included 13 departments such as the Department of Defense Technology, Department of Beauty and Cosmetology, Department of Hotel and Food Service Cooking, and Department of Fashion Jewelry Design. Going forward, the program plans to expand to all departments to strengthen the employment capabilities of current students.

No Seonsik, director of the University Job Center, said, “Obtaining certifications is essential for students to succeed in employment,” adding, “We will do our best to support certification acquisition and strengthen students’ confidence and capabilities for employment.”
