Daycare Teacher Assaulting 20-Month-Old Child Under Police Investigation

According to the Yeosu Police Station in Jeonnam on the 21st, a report was received from the parents that their 20-month-old daughter, A, who attends a daycare center in Yeosu City, was assaulted by a childcare teacher the previous morning.
Suspicious of bruises on their daughter's head and forehead, A's parents checked the daycare center's closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage before filing the report.
The police, together with Yeosu City, secured the daycare center's CCTV footage and identified circumstances on the 19th where two childcare teachers assaulted A. They are reviewing whether to apply charges under the Child Welfare Act.
