Ulsan World Mountain Film Festival, 2023 Ulsanmentary Participant Recruitment ... For Groups (2 to 4 People)
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The Ulju World Mountain Film Festival is recruiting participants for the media education and production program "2023 Uljumentary," co-hosted by the Ulsan Viewer Media Center of the Korea Communications Agency.
"Uljumentary," a compound word of Ulju and documentary, is a program designed to develop Ulju's cultural content and discover local film production talent.
Applications are open to groups interested in documentary production (2 to 4 people), with up to 4 teams to be selected.
The selected teams will produce a 15-minute documentary based on the people and stories of Ulju by December, working with one mentor who is an expert in film and video production, and will present their work to audiences at the 8th Ulju World Mountain Film Festival next year.
Teams will receive facility and equipment support from the Ulsan Viewer Media Center, a production grant of 1.5 million KRW from the film festival, as well as support for English subtitle translation and subtitle production. Additionally, support will be provided to submit Uljumentary works to domestic and international film festivals.
The application period is from July 18 to August 16. To apply, download the "Uljumentary" application form from the Ulju World Mountain Film Festival website, complete it, and submit it via email. The final selected teams will be announced on August 22 through the website after application review and interviews.
