Recruitment of Contestants for 'Chungjang World Parade' in Dong-gu, Gwangju
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City is recruiting groups and individuals to participate in the ‘Chungjang World Parade’ competition, a core content of the ‘19th Nostalgic Gwangju Chungjang World Festival,’ until August 31.
The ‘Chungjang World Parade’ competition, themed ‘Unforgettable Movie Masterpieces,’ will feature famous domestic and international movie scenes, nostalgic retro vibes, and is scheduled to take place around Geumnam-ro on October 15.
Both groups and individuals can participate in the competition. The group category includes professional art groups (music, dance, theater, mime, performance, martial arts, fine arts, etc.), sports groups (Taekwondo, martial arts, gymnastics, motorcycle, bicycle, roller skating, etc.), clubs, social organizations, and school groups, each consisting of 15 or more members capable of participating in a parade.
The individual category is open not only to professional artists but also to the general public, accepting applications from individuals or teams of 10 or fewer people such as couples, friends, families, alumni associations, and small businesses.
The application period is until August 31, and applicants can download the relevant documents from the Chungjang Festival website and submit them via email.
Participants who apply within the deadline will receive expert consulting for each team.
