Gyeongnam Junggi Cheong Selects 19 Companies for Overseas Standard Certification Support Project
Up to 4 Certification Supports per Company, Support Within an Annual Limit of 100 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] The Gyeongnam Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration selected 19 companies in the Gyeongnam area as support targets in the second round of the 2022 'Overseas Standard Certification Acquisition Support' project, which supports the acquisition of overseas certifications necessary for small and medium enterprises to enter overseas markets.
The Overseas Standard Certification Acquisition Support project is conducted to expand exports of small and medium enterprises by supporting the acquisition of overseas standard certifications required for entry into overseas markets.
Under the project, certification support is provided for up to 4 cases per company within an annual limit of 100 million KRW.
The overseas standard certifications eligible include 474 general certifications such as CE (European Community Mark), LR (Lloyd's Register), ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), and 52 new ESG and carbon neutrality certifications such as ISO 50001 (Energy Management) and EPC (Energy Efficiency), totaling 526 certifications.
It supports 50% or 70% of the total costs directly incurred for certification acquisition, including certification fees, testing fees, and consulting fees.
As a result, in Gyeongnam, a total of 47 companies were selected with 28 in the first round and 19 in the second round, receiving certification acquisition support funds amounting to 770 million KRW.
The third recruitment for overseas standard certification is scheduled for early August, and interested companies can apply through the Overseas Standard Certification Acquisition Support Center website.
