McDonald's sells approximately 3 million units of two types of 'McCrispy Burger' cumulatively
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] McDonald's announced on the 19th that the cumulative sales of the two types of 'McCrispy Burger,' launched at the end of May, have surpassed approximately 3 million units since their release.
The two McCrispy Burgers feature a '100% whole chicken leg meat Cajun patty,' made with the chicken leg meat, the most preferred chicken part by domestic customers, maximizing the appeal of a crispy outside and tender inside texture. Additionally, a new bun called the 'Potato Brioche Bun,' which had not been used in existing menus, was introduced, along with a specially developed 'Special Smoky Sauce.' They received high customer response, with over 1 million units sold within just two weeks of launch.
Last month, McDonald's re-released 'McWing' as a limited summer side menu. McWing is McDonald's representative chicken side menu consisting of two parts: chicken drumettes and wings. With its crispy skin texture and uniquely addictive savory seasoning, it is perfect for enjoying chicken alone without burden. McWing recorded about a 15% higher sales rate compared to the previous year after its release this year.
