[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 18th that it is recruiting promising startups to participate in the 'Try Everything Challenge,' the main competition of the global startup festival 'Try Everything 2022' to be held in September.
The 'Nationwide Startup Audition' is open to anyone with innovative ideas, including students, housewives, and prospective entrepreneurs. As it is a 'startup competition for the entire nation,' its purpose is to activate startups and investments and to create a healthy startup ecosystem. Only businesses registered for less than three years with a business registration certificate can apply. Recruitment of participants will be conducted from the 18th until October 17th.
Startups with excellent technological capabilities are also being recruited to participate in the 'Korea Challenge' startup competition. Any innovative startup that has been in business for 3 to 7 years can participate. About 10 startups selected in the first round will have the opportunity to receive feedback from a mentoring team composed of global startup ecosystem experts, enhancing their global expansion capabilities and building a startup ecosystem network.
