Innovative Smart City Solution Companies Offered Opportunities for Application in Public and Private Sectors
Foundation Supports Demand Discovery and Connection for Companies Struggling to Secure Clients
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Digital Foundation announced on the 17th that it will promote a smart city solution technology verification (PoC) and demonstration support project to advance smart city solutions, secure references, and develop sales channels, and is recruiting consortia to participate. The application period is until the 22nd of this month.
The recruitment targets are consortia consisting of companies based in Seoul that possess digital-based products and services such as AI, blockchain, and IoT, along with public or private demand organizations. Solution companies without secured demand organizations can also apply. If a company without a demand organization applies, the foundation plans to assist in linking them at an explanatory meeting to be held for district offices and affiliated institutions.
Through this recruitment announcement, about 25 consortia will be selected and project funds necessary for technology verification and demonstration will be supported. Especially this year, a new cross-demonstration between overseas cities (Montreal, Canada) utilizing the foundation's overseas cooperation network has been planned.
Smart city solution companies wishing to participate can download the application documents from the Seoul Digital Foundation website, fill them out, and submit them via email to each project manager before the application deadline (22nd).
