Seobukwon Working Moms Support Center Continues Childcare Support Project Since 2020
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Government is implementing an emergency childcare program to fill the childcare gaps for working moms and dads, as well as during school vacations.
On the 17th, the Seoul Northwest Working Moms Support Center announced that starting early August, it will hold a skateboard class for elementary school children of working moms and dads at the Seoul Innovation Park plaza. The skateboard class will run twice a week from the 2nd to the 25th of next month, totaling 8 sessions. Participants will be recruited until the 27th, and the program will provide beginner and introductory skateboard courses.
The center has been operating a childcare support project since 2020 to help resolve childcare gaps in working moms and dads' families caused by COVID-19, and continues to operate it to this day.
Meanwhile, the center plans to offer free psychological testing and in-depth counseling programs from August to October for working moms in blind spots of labor who urgently need psychological assessment due to work-life balance and personal emotional issues, in collaboration with the Hong Eun General Social Welfare Center.
