Inauguration Ceremony of Junior Board Held for Employees Aged 20-30 Below Grade 7
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do has taken the first step toward creating a horizontal organizational culture and discovering innovative ideas.
On the 15th, according to the county, the inauguration ceremony and innovation lecture for the '2022 Hampyeong-gun Junior Board' were held at 'Damdam,' a youth startup experience shared cafe located in Daedong-myeon.
The Junior Board is a meeting body composed of MZ generation (born between 1980 and early 2000s) public officials, providing a platform for horizontal communication to discover creative ideas and lead organizational culture innovation.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Lee Sang-ik, Mayor of Hampyeong-gun, Lee Gae-ho, National Assembly member, and about 20 public officials representing the MZ generation.
Previously, the county recruited participants targeting employees aged 20 to 30, grade 7 or below, with less than 7 years of service in each department, forming a total of 20 Junior Board members across 4 teams.
Starting with the inauguration ceremony, the Junior Board will engage in various activities including ▲innovation of county government organizational culture ▲proposal of regional development ideas ▲benchmarking of best practices ▲performance sharing meetings.
Furthermore, ideas and policies discovered through future performance sharing meetings will be delivered to the Senior Board, composed of Mayor Lee Sang-ik and senior public officials, to be reflected in policies.
National Assembly member Lee Gae-ho said, “I hope you will lead Hampyeong’s future by creating a new public service culture with your innovative thinking and confident attitude.”
