“Now It's Time to Start Again!” Gimhae City, Small Concert Celebrating the Launch of the 8th Elected Term
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Se-ryeong] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, will hold a 'Small Concert Commemorating the Launch of the 8th Civil Administration' at 5 p.m. on the 16th at the Gimhae Culture and Arts Center.
The small concert, organized under the theme 'Now, It's a New Beginning Gimhae!', was planned by the Gimhae City Choir and the City Gayageum Ensemble, and admission is free.
On the day, the Gayageum Ensemble will perform 'From Halla to Baekdu' and 'Flower Island,' while the City Choir will present four classical pieces including 'Stein Song (Song of Friendship)' and 'Nessun Dorma (The Princess Can't Sleep),' as well as five popular songs such as 'Love Twist,' 'Jjin-iya,' and 'Tess-hyung.'
Additionally, a drummer will make a special appearance, performing drum pieces tailored to popular songs to enhance the stage.
Since its founding in 1991, the City Choir has held two regular concerts annually, along with operas, special concerts, youth music concerts, regional touring concerts, and concerts with commentary.
The City Gayageum Ensemble, established in 1998 as the nation's only municipal gayageum ensemble, performs not only traditional music but also contemporary music, instrumental pieces, and vocal music, promoting Korean music.
