Woori Financial Capital Obtains ISO Certification for Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management
Capital Industry's First ISO 45001 Certification Achieved
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Woori Financial Capital announced on the 15th that it has obtained ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, international standards for environmental and occupational health and safety management systems, from the ITS Certification Institute. The ISO 45001 certification is the first in the domestic capital industry.
With this ISO certification, Woori Financial Capital has established manuals and systems for building and operating management systems for workers' occupational health and safety, which are socially being strengthened, as well as an eco-friendly management system. Through this, environmental management and occupational health and safety management can be systematically practiced.
Woori Financial Capital has continuously engaged in related activities as social interest and demand for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management have increased. To prevent COVID-19 among employees, they replaced air purifiers, provided masks and hand sanitizers, operated emergency response in-house broadcasts, distributed self-test kits, and ran an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental health promotion.
