‘2022 Sacheon Airshow’ D-100 Days... GS25 Collaboration Event Held

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Sacheon Airshow Promotion Committee and GS25 are jointly conducting an SNS event to commemorate D-100 days until the '2022 Sacheon Airshow' from the 12th to the 21st of this month, lasting 10 days.
This event allows participants to automatically enter by viewing the event post on GS25's official Instagram and replying with the answer to the quiz.
Among the participants, a draw will be held to provide various prizes such as the Korean-made small armed helicopter LAH LEGO developed by Korea Aerospace Industries, a model of the Korean helicopter Surion, and GS25 mobile gift certificates.
In particular, free experience flight boarding tickets for the Sacheon Airshow will also be given, offering a special experience that cannot be had anywhere else in South Korea.
The experience flights will operate various aircraft types including Air Force transport planes and helicopters, university aircraft, and light aircraft.
A representative of the Promotion Committee said, "We are conducting various events until the Sacheon Airshow to promote and attract more visitors. We ask for continuous interest and support for the successful hosting of the event."
Meanwhile, the '2022 Sacheon Airshow' is scheduled to be held for four days from October 20 to 23 at Sacheon Airfield, co-hosted by the Air Force, Gyeongsangnam-do Province, Sacheon City, and Korea Aerospace Industries.
The main official events include the Air Force military band concert and opening ceremony, spectacular aerobatic flights by the Air Force special flight team Black Eagles and the Australian Paul Bennet Airshow Team, and demonstration flights of domestically produced aircraft such as the KT-1 and T-50.
Additionally, there will be ground exhibitions of military, government, and civilian aircraft, an 'Air Force Aviation Weapon System Parts Exhibition' to strengthen aerospace business and infrastructure, an 'Industry Promotion Exhibition Hall,' as well as new programs such as 'Metaverse Experience' and 'Paper Airplane Competition.'

Various airshows including Air Force special forces high-altitude parachuting and Sacheon Airshow’s unique free experience flights of Air Force (transport planes, helicopters) and civilian (university, light) aircraft will continue this year as well.
